That is the power of coaching. 

 

And it’s why I became a functional health coach - to help people like you drive your own success. It’s going to take work, but I’m here for you every step of the way.

I am passionate about healthy food and creating a life filled with good vibes! I truly want people to just... feel good! 

 

This passion took me from growing up on Quadra Island, connected to nature and an active lifestyle, to the University of British Columbia to study dietetics. 

 

I interned as a clinical dietitian at Vancouver General Hospital and ran my own business as a Registered Dietitian for almost a decade. After taking some time off to raise two girls, I found myself not fully aligned with the conventional nutrition world. 

 

Researchers are rewriting what healthy eating and wellness looks like. I wanted to adapt my food philosophy to better reflect this and my own values, and prioritize for my clients the connection science now makes between the foods we eat, the daily habits we create and our overall well-being.

 

So I enrolled in the Functional Health Coaching Program at the Kresser Institute in California.  There I learned the importance of exploring motivations and individual strengths to support successful habit changes. Now I can educate AND coach to build the most effective health and nutrition program for my clients.
